Information Security Weeks
Information Security Week is offered every semester and provides training for students and staff on various topics and current threats.
In the subsections you will find an overview of the respective information security week as well as links to the online training on the Panopto video server and other materials.
Focus: Setting up the mail filter & security of Windows computers
The information security week in the winter semester 2023/204 focuses on the individual settings of the mail filter and the practical security of Windows computers.
The current training course addresses current threats and topics relating to information security
at the University of Bayreuth.

Focus: Security of word processing programs
The information security week in the summer semester of 2022 focuses on the security of word processing programs and their files. The topic is divided into two compact training courses, each lasting 20 minutes. One deals with the basics, the second with self-created macros.
