ITS material distribution

New Responsibilities and Digital Ordering Process

Important Change: Starting March 1, 2026, the ITS Material Issue and the Office Supply Issue will be merged. To simplify administrative procedures, the distribution of IT consumables (such as cables, USB sticks, etc.) will be integrated into the general webshop. 

New Ordering Process since March 1, 2026

From March 1 onwards, IT consumables must be ordered exclusively through the central webshop.

Where do I order? Directly via the University Webshop.

Where can I find the items? In the webshop, navigate to: "Products" → "Office Supplies" → "IT Material".

Who is authorized to order? Ordering follows the same procedure as hardware and software, via the authorized persons of your respective organizational unit.

How is delivery handled? As usual, your ordered items will be delivered conveniently via internal mail (Hauspost).

Additional Information:

Payment: For online orders, the amount will be debited from the specified cost center within 1 to 2 months.

Note on Printer Supplies: Consumables for printers (toner cartridges, ink cartridges, etc.) are available exclusively from the Office Supply Warehouse (Department II/2.4)! Used materials (e.g., toner cartridges) must be disposed of via Central Technology (Zentrale Technik).

Missing Items: Items not listed in the University Webshop may be available via forms from the Purchasing Department.
