The IT-service center offers you an ideal infrastructure for your studies. We offer comprehensive printing and scanning facilities, operate the pc-pools and ensure for the latest technology in the lecture halls and seminar rooms.

Multimedia-infrastructure of the lecture halls, seminar and conference rooms

Following the link Multimedia-equipment all lecturers or speakers will find an overview of the available media technology in the individual lecture halls, seminar, conference rooms and pc-pools which can be used for your teaching or presentation.

Print and scanstations

All over the campus you can find possibilities to print or scan your documents by yourself. In the overview you see the existing devices in the respective buildings. You can manage your print and scan orders at https://print.uni-bayreuth.de.

PC-Pools

In more than 20 pools are about 400 workplaces for students which can be used outside of the course and practice times for tasks like study, bachelor or master thesis. The students will find on all
PCs the same working environment, just the course software is partly available because of licensing reasons only for certain faculties or in selected pc pools. An overview of the locations, space availability, hardware configuration and existing software can be found under PC-Pools. You can also point us to faulty computers or other errors. You can help!

Multimedia and Videoconference room

The IT service center offers a central videoconference system at the multimedia and videoconference room (NW II, 3.2.00.336). It is a room system for an average group of people.

The videoconference system Tandberg 990 MPX features a swiveling and zoomable camera and two 42 inch plasma screens. So you have the possibility to display and transmit simultaneous. As example a presentation and also the camera image of the lecturer will be displayed. The conference room and also the seating arrangement are freely arranged in the room.
